Court allows Imran to speak to sons by phone
The FIA Central Court in Islamabad has directed Adiala Jail authorities to allow PTI founding chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan to hold a telephonic conversation with his sons abroad and undergo a medical check-up by his personal physician.
The directive came as the court rejected an application filed by the jail authorities seeking a review of earlier court orders issued on January 10 and February 3.
The jail administration had argued that the orders were "inconsistent" and contrary to the fundamental rights and principle of equal treatment for all inmates.
