On May 14, 2025, rapper DDG was caught off guard while livestreaming with Adin Ross when news broke that Halle Bailey had been granted a restraining order against him.

The development, first reported by TMZ, includes allegations of physical abuse involving the couple's child, Halo. They published the story with photos of Bailey’s injuries, which she submitted as evidence.

Bailey claims the incident occurred during a visit by DDG to pick up their child. According to her report, DDG chipped her tooth and left visible bruises on her arms. In the following months, he allegedly broke her Ring doorbell, took her phone, and later damaged it. These events prompted Bailey to file a police report and request court protection.

The court granted a restraining order barring DDG from coming within 100 yards of Bailey. She is also permitted to travel to Italy with their child for two months while filming a movie.

While the story was unfolding, DDG and Adin Ross were livestreaming from a clothing store. Footage showed both visibly reacting to the news. DDG appeared stunned and silent, while Ross tried to console him, saying, “DDG is a good guy and this is all fake narratives.”

The restraining order’s duration has not yet been disclosed, and it remains unclear whether DDG will make a public statement in the coming days. This incident follows a period of declining momentum in DDG’s music career, including disappointing sales of his latest album, Blame The Chat.

Fans have been sharing support for Bailey on social media, expressing concern over the reported events. The legal case continues to develop and may prompt further proceedings.
