The federal sex trafficking case against Sean “Diddy” Combs began with disturbing and graphic testimony from a key witness.

Daniel Phillip, a 41-year-old escort, testified that the music mogul paid him large sums to perform sexual acts with Diddy's ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, while Diddy observed and gave directions.

Phillip described their first meeting in 2012 at New York’s Gramercy Hotel.

He claimed that over the next year or more, similar encounters took place repeatedly, with Phillip being paid anywhere from $700 to $6,000 for each session. He alleged these encounters followed a set routine, with Diddy actively orchestrating the acts.

“Y’all need to rub more baby oil on each other,” Diddy would allegedly say, as Phillip described the highly controlled and sexualized environment.

He further testified that these “freak-off” sessions often included detailed roleplaying and were manipulated by Diddy from start to finish.

The testimony became more alarming as Phillip recounted two separate incidents in which he believed Cassie was being abused.

He said he heard her crying and screaming apologies while inside a room with Diddy, followed by the sound of slapping.

After one such incident, Cassie allegedly ran into Phillip's arms, visibly shaken. “She was shaking. She was terrified,” Phillip stated.

The trial is scheduled to continue on Tuesday, May 13, with more cross-examination of Phillip. Cassie Ventura is also expected to take the stand soon.
