
Three persons including a man and his son lost their lives while one citizen suffered injuries in road mishaps in the city on Friday.
According to police, 37-year-old Irfan was going to drop his 17-year-old son Mansoor to an examination centre for his intermediate first year exam when a speeding coach hit their motorcycle in Orangi Town, within the limits of Pakistan Bazaar police station. Both, father and son were seriously injured and shifted to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The killer coach fled the scene after the accident. The police are trying to obtain CCTV footage of the accident so that the coach could be traced.
Irfan was the father of four children and his son Mansoor was the eldest among his children.
In another road accident, one person died and another suffered injuries when a speeding water tanker hit a car, a pickup and a motorcycle at Drigh Road, within Sharea Faisal police limits.
