Peshawar to fight power theft with new meters

In an effort to curb electricity theft in the suburban areas of Peshawar, authorities have decided to install electricity meters in collaboration with local representatives.

Approval has been granted for the issuance of 10,000 meters for the Badhaber and Mattani areas. To put an end to unscheduled load shedding in these regions, consultation committees have been formed under the supervision of Assistant Commissioners, along with members of the National and Provincial Assemblies.
