Next steps in Kohistan scam probe outlined

A high-level meeting regarding the Kohistan financial scandal was held in the conference room of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, chaired by Speaker Babar Saleem Swati.

The session was attended by the Director General (DG) Audit of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and other senior assembly officials.

During the meeting, officials presented a comprehensive briefing on the forensic audit of suspicious bank accounts linked to the Kohistan scandal, covering financial activities over the past ten years.

Discussions focused on the terms of reference (TORs) and audit access protocols to ensure the transparency and effectiveness of the audit process. Speaker Babar Saleem Swati directed that the audit be conducted with utmost integrity.
