Minority leader 'killed' in axe attack
Bheel was taken to the taluka hospital in Naukot and then referred to Civil Hospital Mithi in Tharparkar
HYDERABAD:
A primary school teacher and minority wing leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Soomro Bheel, died in Mirpurkhas district on Thursday after being attacked with an axe in village Jinhan Junejo near Naukot.
According to police, Bheel was taken to the taluka hospital in Naukot and then referred to Civil Hospital Mithi in Tharparkar, but he died en route. His son, Sooraj Bheel, said that his father was returning to their village when unknown men attacked him with axes. An FIR has been registered at the Wajono police station.
