The body of a youth who had fled to evade a police raid on May 4 was found in a stream in the Neikapura area.
According to officials, the Kotwali police had carried out a raid at Circular Road in Neikapura on then night of May 4 to arrest 25-year-old Muhammad Tayyab who was wanted in a case of armed robbery at a mobile phone shop.
As the police arrived, Tayyab fled to avoid arrest. The police team chased him, but he disappeared in darkness near Pull Aik.
His body was found at Nullah Pull Aik Wednesday.
Upon receiving information about incident, City DSP Tariq Mehmood Dhuddi and other officials reached the spot along with a forensic team to initiated legal proceedings.
