Lorde has officially announced the dates for her Ultrasound Tour, set to kick off in North America and Europe later this year.
The announcement, made on May 8 via Instagram, comes ahead of the release of her highly anticipated album Virgin, slated for June 27. The tour will begin on September 17 in Austin, Texas, with shows across the U.S. and Canada, including stops in Chicago, Nashville, Toronto, Boston, New York City, Las Vegas, and Seattle. After wrapping up the North American leg in late October, Lorde will head to Europe for performances in Luxembourg, Paris, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, and Berlin, with the final show in Stockholm on December 9.
Lorde expressed her excitement in the post, sharing that she would be bringing along talented artists such as Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes, The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yanya, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, and Oklou for select dates. She also teased her fans with a reference to her album’s cover art, saying, “Come see what’s under the skin.”
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on May 16, with a pre-sale starting on May 14 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can register for early access on Lorde's official website.
This tour marks Lorde’s first major arena tour since her 2017-2018 Melodrama World Tour. It also follows her 2021 Solar Power Tour, which saw her performing in more intimate venues. The announcement comes on the heels of Lorde’s recent single “What Was That,” which served as a precursor to Virgin.
