Reese Witherspoon may be preparing for a big move to New York City with her boyfriend, financier Oliver Haarmann.
Sources reveal the couple has toured a luxury residence at Sixteen Fifth Avenue—Robert A.M. Stern’s exclusive 14-unit building in Greenwich Village—not once, but twice.
Insiders told Page Six that Witherspoon and Haarmann were “very sweet and affectionate” during both visits in March. One of the driving reasons behind the potential move is that one of Witherspoon’s children is currently attending NYU, and the actress reportedly wants to be nearby.
The boutique building is located just a block north of Washington Square Park, placing it in the heart of NYU's campus. Adding to the appeal, Haarmann’s private equity firm, Searchlight Capital, is based in New York, making the city a convenient hub for both partners.
Witherspoon, best known for her roles in Legally Blonde and Big Little Lies, was first linked to Haarmann in July 2024 following her divorce from Hollywood agent Jim Toth in 2023.
The luxe building features amenities including a golf simulator, private storage, a fitness center, and a lounge. The property includes an available three-bedroom, 4.5-bath unit measuring 3,200 square feet, currently listed at $13 million. Larger duplex and triplex penthouses offer expansive outdoor space and up to 8,300 square feet.
Witherspoon’s primary residence remains in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was raised, but this latest development hints at a possible bicoastal lifestyle. Representatives for the actress have yet to comment on whether a purchase is pending.
