
Sofia Carson will host Netflix's highly anticipated Tudum 2025 event, set to feature cast members from some of the streaming platform's most beloved series and films, including Stranger Things, Wednesday, Frankenstein, Happy Gilmore 2, and Squid Game.
This year’s Tudum will take place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and marks the first time the event will air live on Netflix, expanding its reach beyond previous YouTube livestreams.
The event promises to combine a variety show format with fanfare, comedy, music, live performances, and special guest appearances. Shelly Gillyard, Netflix’s vice president of series marketing for the US and Canada, explained that the show will be designed to offer a thrilling and entertaining experience for fans worldwide.
Tickets for the live event, which will be streamed on Netflix on May 31 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, will go on sale via Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from $25 to $75. Attendees will enjoy an interactive experience with photo ops and the chance to see some of their favorite talent in person. The confirmed lineup includes stars such as Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth for Frankenstein, Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard for Stranger Things, and Jenna Ortega for Wednesday. Other notable stars include Christopher McDonald and Julie Bowen for Happy Gilmore 2 and director Hwang Dong-hyuk for Squid Game.
Carson, known for her roles in Purple Hearts, Carry-On, and Feel the Beat, emphasized the significance of the event being streamed live on Netflix, calling it a unique celebration of the global Netflix fandom. The live event will bring fans together worldwide, offering an exciting opportunity to witness the power of Netflix and its extensive catalog of content.
