The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the HBL Pakistan Super League X (PSL 10) will continue as scheduled, with Islamabad United set to take on Quetta Gladiators on May 7 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, despite escalating regional tensions.
The toss is scheduled for 7:30 PM, with the match beginning at 8:00 PM sharp, kicking off a four-match Rawalpindi leg to be held on May 7, 8, 9, and 10. The final league stage game will be played in Multan on May 11.
The announcement comes amid heightened hostilities between Pakistan and India following a series of cross-border military escalations.
According to official sources, Pakistan’s armed forces shot down five Indian Air Force jets, a combat drone, and destroyed a brigade headquarters in retaliation to Indian missile strikes targeting cities in Punjab and AJK.
Despite the unfolding security crisis, PCB has reaffirmed that there will be no changes to the HBL PSL X schedule.
The playoff stage will begin with the Qualifier in Rawalpindi on May 13, while both Eliminators (May 14 and 16) and the Final (May 18) will be hosted at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
