Grand Theft Auto VI is now available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store, igniting a wave of excitement and disbelief across the gaming community.
The listing, which went live shortly after Rockstar Games released the game’s second trailer, includes new key art, screenshots, and the game’s official logo.
Though no pre-orders have opened yet, the move signals a major step toward the long-awaited launch of Rockstar’s flagship title.
The listing also reveals that GTA 6 will go live globally at 4 AM UTC on 26 May 2026, the date itself remaining firmly set for 2026.
So far, the game is only listed on PlayStation platforms, with no corresponding entry yet available on the Xbox Store—a detail that hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans.
Rockstar has not commented on when Xbox users will be able to wishlist or pre-order.
The absence of pre-orders is slightly unusual but not unexpected.
Based on Rockstar’s release patterns, GTA V pre-orders went live shortly after its second trailer, while Red Dead Redemption 2 saw pre-orders begin a month after its third.
For GTA 6, it appears Rockstar and parent company Take-Two Interactive are holding off—possibly until a third trailer or a formal marketing beat hits later in the year.
With more than a year remaining before launch, the current focus appears to be on stoking anticipation rather than starting transactions.
Still, for fans who’ve waited a decade since GTA V, the simple act of wishlisting the next chapter in the franchise feels like a milestone.
For now, PlayStation users can bask in the feeling that GTA 6 is no longer a rumour or a leak—it's visible, tangible, and slowly inching toward reality.
