Two more MPAs fall victim to fake degree case

PML-Q MPA Shaukat Bhatti and PML-N MPA Rana Abdul Rauf's degrees were declared as fake on Saturday.

LAHORE: Punjab University confirmed PML-Q MPA Shaukat Bhatti’s degree as fake on Saturday, while MPA Rana Abdul Rauf’s degree was also declared unauthentic by the Balochistan University.

Bhatti was elected from Gujar Khan while Rauf represented PP-279 Bahawalnagar.

The Higher Education Commission has also decided to verify the degrees of Universities and Institutions employees as well. They have written letters to 73 universities of the country and sought original degrees of employees.

According to sources the HEC has asked all employees to submit their degrees.
