A man was arrested after crashing his car through the gates of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air mansion on May 5, 2025.
According to law enforcement officials, the incident occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m., while Aniston, 56, was at home. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed that the suspect, a man believed to be in his 70s, was detained by Aniston’s security team before being arrested on charges of felony vandalism.
The incident took place at Aniston’s $21 million mansion, which she purchased in 2012 and renovated with her former husband, Justin Theroux. The Bel-Air property spans over 10,000 square feet and has been a place of personal significance for the actress, who lived there with Theroux until their split in 2018. Since then, Aniston has continued to reside at the property with her dogs.
The LAPD is investigating whether the incident was accidental or intentional, though the motive behind the man’s actions remains unclear. Aniston’s security team quickly responded, ensuring that the situation was under control until police arrived. The suspect has since been booked, and the investigation is ongoing.
This incident comes as Aniston prepares to move to a new property in Montecito, a Tuscan-style farmhouse purchased from Oprah Winfrey in 2022. Renovations on the $15 million home are nearing completion, and Aniston is expected to relocate there once the work is finished.
The crash also follows recent speculation about Aniston’s personal life, particularly her connection with actor Pedro Pascal. However, Pascal recently dismissed rumors of a romance, stating their dinner meeting was centered around professional discussions.
The LAPD continues to investigate the event, and Aniston’s representatives have not yet commented on the situation.
