MQM-P denounces Indian allegations, backs army

Participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for the armed forces

KARACHI:

The residents of Liaquatabad and members of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) held a demonstration at Liaquatabad No 10 on Saturday to denounce Indian allegations following the Pahalgam incident and to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army. Protesters carried national flags, MQM banners, and placards inscribed with slogans such as "Death to Modi" and "Death to India."

Participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for the armed forces and pledged that Liaquatabad's residents would stand alongside the nation and play a frontline role in defending Pakistan. MQM-P leader Qamar Siddiqui said, "Liaquatabad is the land of the founders of Pakistan, and today's protest sends a clear message to India that its 'Pahalgam drama' has failed." He added, "If India wants war, let it begin - but it should know that such a war would end with India's destruction. May Allah protect our armed forces."

Another protester, Abida Sultana, declared that the women of Pakistan - mothers, sisters, and daughters - stand with the military and are ready to sacrifice their lives to protect the country.
