ECP to hear plea against Omar poll win on 8th

ISLAMABAD:

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released its cause list for the upcoming week.

A plea challenging Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Omar Ayub Khan's election victory has been scheduled for May 8.

The ECP has issued notices to petitioner Babar Nawaz and defendant Omar Ayub Khan.

The petitioner had requested additional time for preparation during the last hearing.

Meanwhile, the ECP will conduct a hearing on a disqualification reference against MNA Jamshed Dasti on May 7. It has dispatched notices to the respondents.
