Mob lynches 'bandit', accomplice flees

An alleged robber was shot dead, while another escaped the lynch mob, after they were caught by citizens on the Super Highway in the Sachal police station's area.

The dead suspect was later identified as 26-year-old Zahid Mahsud. Per police two motorcycle-borne suspects were fleeing after robbing a citizen, when a man knocked them down with his car. Soon a crowd gathered, however one of the suspects managed to escape, while the other, Zahid, got caught.

People, incensed by the murders of hundreds of citizens at the hands of muggers, showed no mercy in thrashing the suspect.
