The Pakistan Tehreek-s-Insaf's (PTI) ministers from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and provincial assembly members were denied permission to meet incarcerated party's founding chairman Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Thursday.
The PTI leaders, who had arrived from K-P, were stopped by Rawalpindi police near the Gorakhpur checkpoint and confined to a nearby hotel.
Thursday was the designated day for the PTI founder's meetings with close associates. A day earlier, PTI's focal person Intezar Panjutha had submitted a list of six party leaders to the Adiala Jail superintendent for this purpose.
