The FIA's Anti-Human Trafficking Cell has arrested an agent involved in human trafficking and visa fraud.
The accused, named Muhammad Ahsan, swindled innocent citizens out of millions of rupees by luring them with promises of overseas employment. In one case, he took 500,000 rupees from a citizen under the pretense of providing a work visa for Dubai but failed to send them abroad.
The accused had been on the run for a long time, but was finally arrested in Islamabad during a raid led by FIA Sub-Inspector Waseem Khan.
