The moment was steeped in nostalgia, as Quetta also featured—and won—in the very first PSL match back on 4 February 2016 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Mohammad Rizwan leads among wicket-keepers with 84 dismissals and 2,749 runs, while former Quetta skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has captained the most matches (80) and secured the most wins as captain (38).
Veteran umpire Aleem Dar, who is set to retire at the end of this season, has officiated in a record 81 HBL PSL games.
