RAWALPINDI:

As tensions with India escalate, PTI founding chairman Imran Khan has called on the nation to unite against India, claiming that Indian PM Narendra Modi, along with the "fraudulent government", has ended up inadvertently uniting a frustrated nation.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail after meeting the jailed leader on Tuesday, PTI lawyer Faisal Chaudhry said Imran expressed complete solidarity with the nation in the face of Indian aggression.

"We are united against India. Amid tensions between India and Pakistan, we firmly stand with Pakistan. Any harm to the country will be responded to with full force," the PTI supremo was quoted as saying.

Nonetheless, Imran questioned, "How can we stand with a government that has stripped us of our fundamental rights?".
