Two-year-old Preston Ordone, the viral TikTok star known for his adorable "Okay Baby" videos, tragically passed away on April 24 after a car accident in Louisiana.
The crash occurred in St. Tammany Parish, about 50 miles north of New Orleans, when the Ford F-150 truck his family was traveling in veered off the road and crashed into a tree. His parents, Katelynn and Jaelan Ordone, survived with serious injuries, including multiple broken bones for Katelynn and a leg injury requiring emergency surgery for Jaelan.
While Louisiana State Police are investigating the incident, as per TMZ, they have suggested that Preston may not have been properly secured in his car seat at the time of the crash. This claim has sparked a dispute, with the boy's grandfather, Glen Norris, strongly disputing the allegation. Trooper Marc Gremillion confirmed to NOLA.com that the police stand by their report, but the investigation remains ongoing.
The devastating news was shared by the family on social media, where they also provided updates on Katelynn and Jaelan's conditions. Both parents are being treated in separate hospitals. Despite the tragedy, the Ordone family's fans and followers have rallied around them, remembering Preston's viral videos, which captured the hearts of millions with his signature "okay" catchphrase.
As the investigation continues, the family is seeking privacy while they navigate the immense grief following the loss of their beloved child.
