Oleksandr Usyk will defend his undisputed world heavyweight titles in a highly anticipated rematch against Britain’s Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, July 19.

The Ukrainian star, who made history by defeating Tyson Fury to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 25 years, will share the ring once again with Dubois, who has long sought redemption after their controversial first bout.

In their 2023 encounter, Dubois dropped Usyk with a punch ruled a low blow — a moment that still fuels debate — before ultimately losing inside nine rounds.

Usyk, now the WBC, WBA, and WBO titleholder, was initially committed to a rematch with Fury, leading to the vacating of his IBF belt.

Dubois, promoted from interim to full champion, defended his title with a dramatic knockout win over Anthony Joshua at Wembley last September.

Though scheduled to defend against Joseph Parker earlier this year, illness forced Dubois to withdraw, setting the stage for this blockbuster clash.

"I'm grateful to God for the opportunity to once again fight for the undisputed championship," Usyk said. "Thank you, Daniel, for taking care of my IBF belt – now I want it back."

Dubois, meanwhile, was emphatic about his chance at redemption. "This is the fight I wanted and demanded," he said.

"I should have won the first fight and was denied by the referee’s decision. I am a superior and more dangerous fighter now, and Usyk will find that out on July 19."

Promoter Frank Warren hailed the bout as a "historic occasion" and praised both fighters for agreeing terms, promising an unforgettable night at the UK's most iconic stadium.

Mandatory title defences for both Usyk and Dubois were set aside to allow the undisputed title to be contested, underscoring the magnitude of this event.

Tickets and additional fight week details will be announced shortly, as London prepares for a summer showdown that could define the heavyweight division.
