Drug dealer arrested in Surkhi
Local people hailed the police operation against drug paddlers in Dadyal area of Mirpur AJK.
MUZAFFARABAD:
Dadyal Police conducted an operation in Surkhi and arrested a drug dealer namely Waqas alias Mandri.
The area is 218 kilometres away from the capital city of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The Dadyal Police SHO told the media that the police had also arrested another drug dealer Hamza Haider, son of Raja Zamarad Khan, in Ramazan.
It is pertinent to mention that the police raided the house of drug dealer Mandri in Surkhi and seized 220 bottles of alcohol at the Eid night. However, Waqas alias Mandri managed to escape, taking advantage of the nearby forests and the cover of darkness.
