Protest called across Sindh

Sindh United Party and Save the Indus Movement has called for protest to denounce police brutality against anti-canals sit-ins. Police resorted to shelling, baton charge and aerial firing on a sit-in at Gola Mor, Kandhkot. Meanwhile, in Malir, protestors faced baton charges, and lawyers were injured and arrested.

In response, President of the Sindh United Party and convener of the Save the Indus Movement, Syed Zain Shah, announced protests across Sindh on Monday. He condemned the firing at protestors, and manhandling of lawyers, calling it 'acts of state terrorism'. Shah declared that the PPP will have to pay the price for such unlawful actions.
