
A fire broke out in a shopping centre near Fawara Chowk.
Fire brigade started controlling the flames, using snorkels, water bowsers, and six fire tenders. Fire was brought under control after about two and a half hours. However, no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, a fire broke out at a cotton warehouse at Jinnah Road, reducing the raw materials to ashes. After a two hour struggle, a total of eight fire tenders managed to control the fire, and started the cooling process. Officials stated there were no casualties.
