Olly Murs has been forced to cancel his upcoming concerts in Hull and Brighton due to a stomach bug that has impacted both him and his band crew.

The former X Factor star, 40, shared the news with his fans via social media, explaining the situation and offering an apology for the sudden change in his tour schedule.

In a post on Instagram Stories, Murs revealed that he had been battling a gastroenteritis bug and that it had also affected the members of his band and crew. As a result, the singer said it was impossible to go ahead with the planned performances. He expressed his disappointment, writing, "I hate that I have to write this & really so sorry to let you guys down, but unfortunately, we are having to reschedule our next two shows in Brighton & Hull."

Murs reassured fans that the concerts would be rescheduled as soon as possible and emphasized the importance of ensuring that everyone on the team recovers fully. He added, "We'll be taking a break for 48 hours to ensure everyone can be fit and healthy for the remainder of the tour."

The news follows a recent announcement that Murs and his wife, Amelia, are expecting their second child. The couple, already parents to 11-month-old daughter Madison, shared the news on Instagram with a heartwarming family video. The announcement, accompanied by a photo of Madison wearing a "BIG SIS" denim jacket, excited fans, and Olly spoke about the surprise in a radio interview with Mark Wright, expressing their joy at growing their family.
