The first Monday in May is almost here, and with it, fashion’s most extravagant event—the Met Gala.
While remembering the date is easy, figuring out how to tune in for the 2025 Met Gala might feel a bit trickier. Don’t worry, though we’ve got you covered so you don’t miss a single jaw-dropping entrance.
This year’s red carpet arrivals will be streamed live on Vogue’s YouTube channel, starting promptly at 6:00 p.m. ET on Monday, May 5.
You’ll also find coverage on Vogue’s various social media platforms, but trust us—a bigger screen will make the whole experience even better.
Who’s Hosting the Livestream?
Vogue’s 2025 livestream will be hosted by Teyana Taylor, La La Anthony, and Saturday Night Live’s Ego Nwodim. Meanwhile, Emma Chamberlain is back once again as Vogue’s red carpet special correspondent.
What’s This Year's Theme?
This year’s Costume Institute exhibition is titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
According to the Metropolitan Museum, it’s a deep dive into three centuries of Black fashion through the lens of dandyism—showcasing style, culture, and history in a powerful new way.
What About the Dress Code?
The dress code for the evening is “Tailored for You,” so expect plenty of custom suiting, sharp lines, and menswear-inspired gowns gracing the red carpet.
Who's Attending?
While the full guest list remains tightly under wraps, a few names are confirmed.
Co-chairs for the evening include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and of course, Anna Wintour. LeBron James will join as an honorary chair.
And while nothing’s official, don’t be surprised if Rihanna makes her legendary fashionably late appearance, after all, a Met Gala without Rihanna? Practically unthinkable.
