Six matches decided in Slice Cup basketball tournament

Abdul Nasir Club and KBBC scored fabulous wins in the ongoing 6th Slice Mango Juice Cup 3x3 Basketball Tournament being played at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court on Thursday night.

In all six matches were decided on the second day of the tournament which is organized under the banner of Firdous Ittehad, with the permission of KBBC and the support of a beverage company.

In the first match, Brigadier Rasheed Malik Club defeated Mumtaz Ahmed Club by 14-10 while in the second match, Abdul Nasir Club lost to Mumtaz Club by 13-17.

In the third match, Abdul Nasir Club defeated Rasheed Malik Club by 13-10 and in the fourth match, KBBC beat Mumtaz Club by 14-6.

In the fifth match, KBBC won against Rasheed Malik Club by 15-12 while in the the final match of the day, Abdul Nasir Club edged out KBBC by 14-13 points.

Outstanding performances were delivered by Abdul Rafi, Sameer Ahmed, Hamza Pervani, Mustafa-ul-Haq, Muhammad Moaz Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Shayan Hasan, Muhammad Sami, Hadi Hasan, Muhammad Zaid Ashraf, Muhammad Saleh, Hasan Iqbal, and Muhammad Abdullah Khan.

Referees and technical officials for the matches included Muhammad Ashraf, Raj Kumar Lakhwani, Naeem Ahmed, Aamir Sharif, Zafar Iqbal, Zaeema Khatoon, Nusrat Afzal, and Michael Turner.

At the start of the matches, Asif Gulfam, a member of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce, was introduced to the players and organizers. Also present were Zulfiqar Abbas Khan from UBL, Muhammad Ali from the police, former KBBA Secretary Tariq Hussain, and other dignitaries.
