In the 2000 film Miss Congeniality, a now-iconic moment comes when MC Stan Fields (William Shatner) asks Cheryl Frasier (Heather Burns) what her idea of a perfect date is. Her response, “I’d have to say April 25 because it’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket,” has since become a beloved quote, leading to the unofficial celebration of Miss Congeniality Day on April 25. Twenty-five years ago, this now-iconic line had moviegoers laughing, and today, it’s a nostalgic part of the annual "Miss Congeniality Day" meme.
The film, starring Sandra Bullock as an FBI agent undercover at the Miss United States pageant, quickly became a fan favorite, and this memorable line has stuck with audiences over the years. The movie's cast also includes Benjamin Bratt, Michael Caine, and Candice Bergen.
