ISLAMABAD:

Senator Faisal Vawda on Thursday said Pakistan responded to India's "baseless and cheap propaganda" with strength and clarity, just as it did in the past.

"We responded to India's hostility before and we will do it again," he said while talking to a private TV channel. "Our competent army chief decisively responded to Indian propaganda."

Vawda said suspension of airspace and trade with India dealt a blow to its economy.

He said Reko Diq and mines and minerals initiatives reflected the army chief's vision, adding that these had unnerved the Indian leadership.
