PRA launches tax awareness drive

The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has launched a tax awareness campaign in the Rawalpindi Division to ensure the installation of Electronic Invoice Monitoring System (EIMS) and compliance with sales tax regulations.

Following directives from the PRA chairman and the PRA commissioner for Rawalpindi, the campaign specifically targets marriage halls and restaurants across the division. In the first phase, awareness banners have been displayed at these places in the Rawalpindi city. The second phase will see the expansion of this campaign to other districts in the Rawalpindi Division.

According to a PRA spokesperson, banners and streamers carrying important messages for restaurant owners have been prominently displayed in areas such as Peshawar Road, Haider Road, Adamjee Road and Kamran Market.
