The teaser trailer for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 just dropped, and fans are buzzing over its use of two iconic Taylor Swift songs that set the emotional tone for the upcoming episodes.

Streaming on Prime Video beginning July 16, Season 3 will dive deeper into Belly Conklin’s complex love triangle with brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher.

Set to Swift’s “Daylight” from the Lover album, the teaser opens with sweet college moments between Belly (Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), from three-legged races to cozy nights at the Cousins Beach house. The warm and joyful montage suggests a “golden” chapter in Belly’s love life.

But that vibe quickly shifts. As Swift’s lyric “I once believed love would be burnin’ red, but it’s golden” fades, Conrad (Christopher Briney) reappears, entering the house during winter. The music switches dramatically to the chorus of “Red,” highlighting the passionate and complicated history between Belly and her first love.

The visual storytelling continues in the show’s promotional material. A poster shows Belly in red, flanked by both brothers—Jeremiah kissing her cheek, Conrad watching, clearly jealous. Flowers in the background also reflect this red theme, seemingly tying everything back to Swift’s metaphor-heavy lyrics.

Based on Jenny Han’s bestselling trilogy, the final season will see Belly facing her biggest decision yet: Which Fisher brother truly holds her heart? Fans will finally get answers as the 11-episode season unfolds this summer.
