Road Accidents: Two lose lives

LAHORE: Two people died in two road accidents across the city on Friday. Ravi Road police said that Ishaq Ali, 35, a resident of Imamia Colony, was hit by a speeding car near Ravi toll plaza while he was on his way home. He was taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The car driver fled the scene. In another incident, Ghulam Abbas, father of four, died when his motorcycle skidded on GT Road in Manawan and he ran into a tree. He was rushed to a hospital by rescue teams, where doctors treating him said that he had severely injured his head. He later died during the treatment. Abbas  was a resident of Manawan village and worked at a factory.
