Human Trafficking: FIA doubles efforts to crack network in district

SIALKOT:

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has doubled its efforts to curb the human trafficking network and arrest its agents and sub agents in the region.

According to the Gujranwala FIA deputy director Gul Sanobar Khan, several FIA teams have been regularly conducting raids at various urban and rural areas for the earliest possible arrest of human traffickers in the district. Sanobar added that a total of 35 notorious human traffickers were currently wanted by FIA in its Red Book in Gujranwala Region, out of which 21 accused have already been arrested.

“Sincere efforts are being made for the early arrest of the remaining 14 accused and we are cracking down upon their network here in the district,” he said.
