
Days after reportedly surviving an attack, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was spotted riding a scooter on the streets of Mumbai, sparking a wave of reactions online.
The actor was seen in a simple white kurta-pyjama, navigating city traffic without his usual security entourage.
The widely shared video comes ahead of the release of Saif’s upcoming action thriller Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins, premiering on Netflix on April 25.
In the film, Khan plays Rehan Roy, a con man hired by a crime lord, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat, to steal a rare diamond known as the “African Red Sun.”
The film is directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, and produced by Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under Marflix Pictures.
It is positioned as a high-stakes thriller filled with action, deception, and plot twists.
While fans praised Khan’s down-to-earth appearance and unconventional mode of transport, others expressed concern over his safety given the recent incident.
Despite the attack, Khan has continued with his public engagements, including promoting his film.
In addition to Jewel Thief, Saif Ali Khan is set to appear in Rahul Dholakia’s upcoming period drama, where he will portray Sukumar Sen, India’s first Chief Election Commissioner.
The film is based on the country’s first general elections held in the early 1950s.
Khan’s scooter outing has further stirred interest in his latest projects, with social media abuzz over his calm demeanor and dedication to his work amid security concerns.
