
Judges of the Anti-Terrorism Court recorded the statement of one prosecution witness and completed the cross-examination of two others during a jail trial for nine cases involving the senior leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in relation to the May 9 riots that followed the arrest of PTI's founding chairman, Imran Khan.
The judges heard various cases registered against PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Dr. Yasmeen Rashid and others related to the May 9 incidents.
The trial court has fixed April 28 for further proceedings.
