Three men who had kidnapped a woman along with children to punish her for pursuing a murder case were arrested along with weapons.
Officials said Shani Dhillon and the others had kidnapped Afifa along with her children from her house at gunpoint in the Gulberg area on Sunday.
The suspects took ten victims to Samundri Road, kept them in a house and tortured the woman. After the case was registered, Gulberg SHO Iqbal Farid raided various places and arrested Walid Dhillon, Sajid and Najaf along with heavy weapons.
The officials said raids were being conducted to arrest the prime suspect, Shani. An associate of the suspects, Qasim Randhawa, is serving life imprisonment.
