Key areas of collaboration discussed included support for building AI-enabled

ISLAMABAD:

A high-level delegation from China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC), led by Chairman Yang Jie, visited the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) and met with Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja. The visit reaffirmed Pakistan-China digital cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and Pakistan's Digital Vision.

Key areas of collaboration discussed included support for building AI-enabled, energy-efficient data centres, accelerating 5G development, and establishing Pakistan-China digital connectivity through CPEC to enhance regional integration. The two sides also explored content hosting partnerships with major Chinese digital platforms and advancing excellence in Artificial Intelligence education.
