Karachi Kings held their nerve to chase down a 148-run target, defeating Peshawar Zalmi by two wickets in a tense finish during the 11th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 at the National Stadium, Karachi.

After winning the toss and opting to field, the Kings restricted Zalmi to 147 for 8 in their 20 overs. Skipper Babar Azam led the scoring for Peshawar with 46 off 41 deliveries before being trapped lbw by Khushdil Shah. Mohammad Haris added 28 off 21, but the team struggled to maintain momentum amid regular breakthroughs.

Khushdil Shah starred with the ball, finishing with figures of 3 for 20, including the prized wicket of Babar. Abbas Afridi also picked up 3 for 30 to stall Zalmi’s middle and lower order. A late push from Alzarri Joseph, who remained unbeaten on 24 off 13, gave Zalmi a modest total to defend.

In response, Karachi Kings' chase was anchored by captain David Warner, who scored a steady 60 off 47 balls. Despite losing Tim Seifert for a golden duck and a flurry of middle-order wickets, the Kings reached the target in 19.3 overs.

Luke Wood briefly brought Zalmi back into contention with a fiery spell of 3 for 13, dismissing Warner, Seifert, and Vince. But Khushdil Shah’s calm 23* off 17 deliveries and a quick cameo from Hasan Ali (6* off 3) sealed the win for Karachi.
