Anne-Marie reveals gender of second child and major lifestyle changes during her pregnancy journey

Anne-Marie has shared the gender of her second child, revealing that she’s expecting a boy.

The 33-year-old singer made the announcement during an appearance on Capital Breakfast with Sian Welby. Anne-Marie, who is already a mother to daughter Seven with rapper Slowthai, also revealed that she has made a significant lifestyle change during her second pregnancy.

This February, shortly after the conclusion of Slowthai’s legal case, Anne-Marie confirmed she was expecting again. She had previously kept the pregnancy under wraps but has since shared updates with her fans, including her growing baby bump. When asked by the host if she knew the baby's gender, Anne-Marie confirmed, saying, "Yeah, it’s a boy."

In her interview, Anne-Marie revealed that she had switched from being a vegetarian to eating steak, a drastic change she attributed to her pregnancy cravings.

"I’ve never eaten steak in my whole life, but the other day I really wanted some," she said. She also disclosed that she has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which has impacted her diet, preventing her from eating cereals or bread. Despite these challenges, Anne-Marie has embraced the changes and continues to be open about her pregnancy journey.

The singer and her partner, Tyron Kaymone (better known as Slowthai), secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2022. Last year, the couple faced public scrutiny after Slowthai was acquitted of charges involving the alleged rape of two women. Anne-Marie stood by his side throughout the trial, which ended with the rapper and his co-accused being cleared of all charges.
