A heated personal dispute turned deadly in Soan Valley, Khushab, as two brothers were shot while drinking tea at a local hotel in Takbir Chowk, leaving one dead and the other critically injured.
Police said Muhammad Qaiser and his brother Muhammad Akram were attacked by Imran alias Tipu and his accomplices, who opened indiscriminate fire inside the restaurant.
The gunfire left both brothers seriously injured. They were rushed to THQ Hospital Nowshera, where Qaiser succumbed to his wounds, while Akram was referred to DHQ Hospital in critical condition.
Nowshera Police registered a case against Imran alias Tipu, Niaz Maqbool, Muhammad Irfan and Allah Ditta on the complaint of Muhammad Arshad, a relative of the victims.
Police officials say the cause of the attack was a minor argument between the accused and the victims.
