Freedom At Last: Rescued kestrels set free

Fourteen kestrels, out of the 20 found on Wednesday by the wildlife department on the National Highway.

SUKKUR: Fourteen kestrels, out of the 20 found on Wednesday by the wildlife department on the National Highway, were set free in a deserted area near Sukkur Bypass. They had been captured by a smuggler who was arrested. According to the deputy conservator, Taj Mohammad Sheikh, three kestrels escaped and three died of heat. The smuggler, Shahid, was fined  Rs10,000.
