The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday issued notices to the Punjab home secretary, the Adiala jail superintendent and others on a petition of Bushra Bibi for better facilities in the jail.
Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, is currently in Adiala jail after her conviction in the £190 million case in January this year. Her petition was heard by IHC Justice Inam Amin Minhas.
The petition stated that Bibi had requested the jail authorities for better facilities several times but to no avail. The court issued notices to the relevant parties and sought report in two weeks.
