A group of unruly young men created chaos and vandalised a fast food restaurant in Saddar, within the jurisdiction of Cantt Police Station. The young men were reportedly using abusive language towards customers and staff, while wielding Palestinian flags and baseball bats. They physically assaulted families and children present at the restaurant.
The incident, which was captured in a mobile video, shows one of the young men hitting a computer at the front counter with a baseball bat, while threatening and hurling abuses at the families dining inside. The unruly group demanded that the restaurant be evacuated immediately, continuing to terrorise the staff and customers. The violence led to widespread panic in the restaurant, with customers abandoning their meals and fleeing for safety. Children were seen crying as their parents hurriedly left the premises.
Following the circulation of the video, the Cantt police registered a case against the unidentified individuals. To ensure the security of the restaurant, a heavy police presence has been deployed. According to details, the disturbance occurred on Sunday night when a large number of men, women, and children were enjoying their meals at the fast food outlet. The attackers, about 10 to 12 in number, entered the restaurant and began causing havoc.
