The city chief AIG Javed Alam Odho chaired a meeting on traffic management and crime control at the Karachi Police Office.
The meeting reviewed with high concern the causes of alarming rise in road accidents in the city, and violation of traffic rules.
The police chief directed the officers to take indiscriminate and effective action against vehicles with fancy number plates, illegal emergency lights and tinted windows. A detailed review was conducted of the current situation of street crimes, robberies, theft incidents and other serious crimes in the metropolis.
