Aamir Khan introduced Gauri Spratt to other guests, appearing at ease and attentive during the evening’s interactions. Social media was quick to pick up the couple’s subtle chemistry and coordinated traditional attire.

This public appearance follows Khan’s confirmation of the relationship just weeks earlier, during his 60th birthday celebration in Mumbai. Speaking to the press at the time, he said: “I thought it would be a nice occasion for you all to meet her. Besides, we won’t have to keep hiding. She is from Bangalore, and we knew each other for 25 years. But we connected a year and a half ago. She happened to be in Mumbai, and we met accidentally. We kept in touch, and then it all happened organically.”

Aamir Spratt, a Bengaluru-based media professional and mother to a six-year-old son, currently works with Khan’s production company. Aamir Khan confirmed they have been living together for the past year.

The couple’s appearance in Macau was part of the festival’s closing weekend. Aamir Khan also took part in a panel titled Laughter is the Best Medicine, alongside Shen and Ma. The forum explored the role of comedy in cross-cultural storytelling and healing through film.

Aamir Khan, known for critically acclaimed films like 3 Idiots, PK, and Dangal, continues to enjoy a strong fan base in China. His appearance at the festival was viewed as a nod to his enduring popularity in the region.

The Macau International Comedy Festival, now in its 8th edition, brought together performers and filmmakers from across Asia to celebrate humour in cinema. Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt’s appearance became one of the most talked-about moments of the event.
