Lahore police release 2025 performance report

Lahore police have released performance data for 2025, highlighting major gains in arresting wanted suspects and habitual offenders across the city.
According to the police spokesperson, a total of 8,440 proclaimed offenders, 6,670 court absconders, and over 2,900 habitual criminals were apprehended this year across six police divisions, Express News reported.
Division-wise data shows Cantonment led in arrests, followed by Iqbal Town, City, Model Town, Sadar, and Civil Lines. Arrests included 1,849 proclaimed offenders in Cantonment, 1,728 in Iqbal Town, and 1,751 in City division.
Court absconders were also taken into custody in significant numbers — with Iqbal Town reporting 1,898 arrests and City 1,412.
More than 900 habitual criminals were caught in the City division alone.
Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana said the crackdown against proclaimed and habitual criminals is ongoing and has led to improved crime control across the city.
He instructed that arrest operations should be strengthened through consistent contact with complainants and enhanced information sharing.
He also called for adopting “hardcore policing” to ensure suspects are brought to justice.
Kamyana directed that Operations and Investigation wings conduct joint operations, using human intelligence and modern technology to track and arrest fugitives.
He further stressed the importance of completing case investigations promptly so that criminals can be effectively prosecuted. He also advised monitoring social media platforms to track absconders and court fugitives.
