The Multan Sultans have announced a charitable initiative, pledging to donate Rs100,000 to the Palestine Children Relief Fund for every six and wicket they achieve in the ongoing tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Ali Tareen, the owner of Multan Sultans, emphasized the team's commitment to using their platform for positive causes. "At Multan Sultans, we believe in utilizing our platform for meaningful purposes," he said in a statement.
Tareen explained that the decision was made to support the Palestine Relief Fund this season, with the donation aimed at helping children in Palestine. "With every six and every wicket, we will donate Rs100,000 to support the children of Palestine," he added.
While the team remains focused on strong performance on the field, Tareen highlighted their solidarity with children in need. "Our attention is on strong performances on the field, but we are equally committed to standing in solidarity with children in need. This is a small step in a large effort, and we are proud to start it here," he said.
Multan Sultans' captain, Mohammad Rizwan, also voiced his support for the initiative, confirming that the team will contribute to the Palestine Children Relief Fund with every six and wicket.
